Informed Consent for Abortion Services All health centers in Utah can provide informed consent to women who are considering terminating her pregnancy. Call the closest health center to schedule a time to speak with a licensed provider and obtain informed consent. This health center does not have a provider available to offer abortion services. In Utah you must obtain face-to-face informed consent and wait 72 hours before having an abortion. You can obtain face-to-face informed consent anywhere in the state from any licensed provider, including physicians, nurses, and social workers.
